Stubby Antenna

Just swapped out the long fishing pole they call an antenna for The Stubby one, much better looks and fitment is perfect. No more scraping the garage door as I pull in and out.

I got mine yesterday. Haven't installed it yet.

adverse effect on reception?

I hope somebody makes a DIY thread about this. The dealership quoted me $250 and that sounded steep.

You unscrew the old one and screw in the new one. It takes 1 min.... the antenna is super cheap aswel. I plan on using one of the fin antennas, just need to get the measurements once my truck gets here and I'll order one.

What size wrench is needed for this mod?

im thinking about using something like this, obviously if it looks like crap ill remove it but it may look good.
i just have to confirm the size when my truck gets here.

amazon sells them for $19 just use adjustable wrench. takes 2 mins not 1^^^. lol

we have a sharkfin like that on the WRX and the reception was cut in half

I don't use am/fm radio. It's only for looks.
I'm unsure about xm with the 801a but if it's not included I'll just transfer my current one from my sho to the raptor.
