Mine is the small low profile box. It is not a full size. I cut open the seams on the ends of the box and lid, then rebent it to size, cut off extra and welded back up. I think it is 61.5 inchs end to end on the lid. I am out of town and do not have truck here. Will get the sizes this weekend and post then. I mounted it to brackets mounted on the box link cleats. Have over 1800 miles off road , and a few small jumps with know issues so far.

cool please post pics thanks

I got a BakBox that rides under my BakFlip tonneau. Probably wouldn't be great for high speed off road but it's perfect for my usual trail driving and boat towing. And it's invisible.

I’m trying to figure out much bed space I lose with the BakBox. I have the Bakflip MX4 and just measured to find it hides about 7.5” of the bed (if you were to put something tall like a sofa in there). How much further does the Bakflip stick out when opened?

I have a swing case on my gen 1. Good idea and fits under my bakflip, but it didnt hold up. After about 1,1/2 years, the latch rod broke out of the back of the box where it hooks into the latch. If a person were to screw a block of wood or metal where the weight of the case rests on that and not the rod when its closed, it would probably hold up fine. I'm looking for alternatives too.

I have a camlocker. Its the RV model, it fits perfect between the rails if you want to run a tonneau.

The BakBox extends back to the front of the wheel well.

But you can slide thin items under it to the front of the bed, and it’s prettt easy to remove the box if you need the full truck bed. It was just the right size for my needs.

I love my smittybuilt adventure box. All the other tool boxes ive seen are too deep to fit my mx atv in the bed. This one is shallow enough and has room on either side for a 2 gallon rotpsx tanks
