That crew cab with our stuff on it is a pre-production truck. For all we know, the production magnetic trucks could be exactly like that, its hard to tell. I will say we have had several different trucks here & each one has had very small things different than the others. For example, color or grille, trims, small accents. For the most part, these trucks are very very very close to what will be production trucks.

Thanks for posting the pics.

I have a magnetic Gen2 coming and in looking at these I missed the fact the fender flares and some other bumper parts are not black / black> So may prototype pics floating around I though they would stand out and would contrast with the magnetic. But in these photos it appears maybe not so? Lighting and all are to tell.

Anyone seen one of the magnetic paint jobs live? Do the flares blend in with the body panels as much as it appears or am I just thinking wayyy too hard??

Also anybody had any experience with carbon fiber flares?

Thx

That's the base package, notice door handles aren't painted either.

Side note I actually like the bedside graphic on magnetic

I don't like this color.... Too plain. Everything washes out. BUT, I would say the graphics look best on this color. Kinda want them to blend a little. And they do on this combo.

PS - early on, I thought I liked that gigantic black plastic tailgate appliqué.... Recent photos have me convinced it looks much better without.

I ordered a Gen2 Magnetic as well. I am pretty sure the pictures in this thread are close to what the truck will look like from the factory. The fender flares on the Gen2 are a dark grey, and is pretty identical to the magnetic color. IMPO, the color match was done deliberately by Ford to make it monochromatic. There should be a texture difference between the gloss paint and the matte fender flare.

That being said, if you want black or carbon fiber fender flares, a trip to a local 3M wrap shop can change the color to whatever you want. I bet there will be some Magnetic Raptor owners who will get tired of the monochromatic and will switch to a two tone look. Conversely, there are countless Raptor owners who have changed their fender flare color to match the body paint.
