Grill?

Is the grill painted on the gen2 or is it all colored plastic?

It looks to be painted like the flares.

I'll need to have that protected, I may just do the letters with some vinyl stickers and call it good.

Someone posted a close up pic, its actually the textured black plastic like on side view mirrors and scoops - not the magnetic from the flares

For what it worth the guy that did my xpel coating felt the grill was plastic, two piece, rear is the black inner grill, satin magnetic front part with ford logo. But he looked quick so?

That is not true. I just went and checked mine. The grill, flares, lower rocker behind the rear wheels and bumpers are all painted semi-gloss magnetic. The vents in the fenders and hood, mirror trim and rear bumper step pad are textures plastic. Sorry for the crappy pic.

I will be as soon as mine comes in. My last 2 Raptors I have had the Bumpers and Flares done in Armagaurd as I drive on muddy roads a lot and get mud 2" thick everywhere...with Armagaurd I can take my shovel to the Flares to scrape the mud off with no worries it also matches the running boards nicely. So I will be doing this again as well as the back Rocker panel , still deciding on whether to paint the Grill and Appliqué Shadow Black to match or Matte Black to go with the Matte Black rims and decals I ordered from Rappygraphics...either way I will be blacking out the entire truck. I will post pics when done but that will likely be early March...there have been a couple pics posted blacked out one with a Matte Black wrap that looks really good.
