Door Handles

Hi, wondering if anybody has an answer for me... I would like to change my outside door handles, the pull portion only, from painted to standard black. I like the contrasting look but really don't want to paint or replace the whole mechanism.
I'm hoping just the pull handle shell pops off so I can put a black plastic one on in its place?? Is this the way they work?

Yeah, if the shell isn't removable that is probably the best solution.

I think I will be having the front side windows tinted, so maybe will see what my guy thinks about doing the handles in black vinyl.

I looked into it - have 802 with keyless entry, parts said OEM textured black handles don't have the keyless entry stuff so I never pursued it further

Still not textured black handles like the hood vents, mirror trim etc

Gloss black handles wouldn't look right since all the other black bits are textured
