Seems like the pictures in this thread match the carbon/ gloss ones that are now on the site instead of the machined... Anyone order recently?

In an ongoing attempt to find a badge I like to replace the big blue Ford emblem I have another Billet Badget to sell. I got a raw aluminum one so that I could get it powder coated here so that I could actually see samples before committing to a particular finish. I got it done in "Black Anti-Skid" (Tiger Drylac) and while it looks really cool, it just doesn't go with my white Raptor. If I were more brave I'd try and paint the lettering to be white, but I'd rather see if someone would want to buy this off me first. It really does look cool and would look great on a darker color Raptor. I'd like to get $160 for it to get my money back so I can try another finish, maybe painted this time. Let me know if interested. Comes with the mounting tape and hardware from Billet Badges.

Big thanks to @photoneffect! I ordered one of the badges and was given a 2-4+ week lead time. Luckily, I was able to grab up Photon's badge. He shipped it out and it arrived today. It was in perfect shape and well packaged.

Install wasn't hard. I just used a hair dryer to heat the badge for 3-4 minutes, taped around the edge of the badge and then used a plastic pry/panel tool to pry it off. I tried the fishing line trick they described in the install instructions but because of the two posts alopng the side and the multiple clips, you can't get the fishing line to the adhesive. I just pried and pushed the panel tool pretty deep actually peeling the adhesive away.

You peel the badge off, clean the remaining adhesive/sticker with Goo Gone, wash the Goo Gone off and then I hit it with the IPA.

I didn't really want to bolt the ting to the tail gate so I just screwed in the screw posts as guides and then stuck the thing on.

Thanks for looking.
