How's the reception? I looked them up on Amazon, was gonna buy if the reception is as good or close. Is yours cut down stock?

Havn't even tried it yet. Never listen to the radio. Ill post an update.

Yeah, I was looking on amazon as well and most of the reviews of the stubby antenna's are horrible.

I don't want to sacrifice function for form.

Does anyone have a stubby they know works well?

I still can't understand why Ford continues to put this antenna on such an expensive truck. This isn't a huge deal by any means, but lacks attention to detail if you ask me.

I bought a $15 antenna at Oreilly the day after I brought mine home. Has worked well so far.

I bought this one. So far I don't notice any difference in reception. Its shorter than factory yet just long enough there isn't any reception issues.

I bought the stubby antenna and haven't noticed any reception issues. The best 25$ spent so far!
