2018 Tailgate

Thanks. I deleted the applique on my 2018 order. So much for de-badging if you like that...

I'd like the post, but don't want anyone to get the wrong impression...now where is my Bondo...

And they are going to put the applique above that? What's for 2019? Neon flashing applique for more advertising?

On the Ford website the applique tailgates don't have F150 stamped on them. (pic below) Looks like the shape of the applique changed a little.

I didn't care for the non-applique tailgates on the 2017 Raptors, I like the new one less with F150 stamped on them.

The fitment of the box cover is horrible and the tailgate release almost looks like a Chevy emblem from that angle.

If that is the case I'm glad I left the appliqué on my 18 order. That F150 looks cheesy. I didn't like the appliqué at first but it has grown on me over the last year.

I threw up in my mouth a little bit when i looked at that!

Well we can look at it this way... The non applique tailgate is at least one thing the 2017 owners will have, that will make the 2018 owners jealous... because IMHO this is an eyesore

Yikes. I like the 2017 a lot better.

I like the 17 better too.
Maybe it'll look better with orange vinyl inserts lol

I think it looks pretty cool. I don't like it better than the 17 but I don't like it worse either.

I have the appliqué because that's what came on the truck I scooped up and I'm not crazy over it.
