I've got a pop/creak coming from my dash. I think it is somewhere behind the dash on the passenger side of the center stack. Seems to be temperature related as plastic shifts and expands.

I want to take the highlighted pictures out and test to see where the creaking is coming from. I've found many examples of how to remove the center stack and radio etc... Does anyone know if all that must be removed to pop out the passenger side vent or can it be removed without removing the center trim and radio? It seems that it is only clipped in rather than screwed anywhere.

At least mine is intermittent. Seems like something is shifting and then I get a creak/pop like a BB gun.

I have a similar creak. I've narrowed it down to the plastic bit just above the "drawer" at the base of the stack. I plan to address it when i install my vhf radio.

I'll have to check that area out. It's so hard to narrow down the area of a noise when you are driving.

Hey Cayenne, did you ever get the vent cover pieces out? Was checking mine out and it <appears> they might just pop out?
