Install the Ram mount bracket. Went by the numbers except it took a lot of effort to pull the top panel off...installed two 1" balls and then added two phone holders.
For assembly I use Silicone grease on all the tabs, it allows the tabs to go back together with little fuss and helps to eliminate possible squeaking from the tabs moving around..Very happy with the product and inexpensive..

Not bad, I could see that being useful especially because it's steel so anything magnetic would stick to it but curious... why didn't you use double sided 3M tape to secure the balls instead?

I don't use double sided tape for anything...especially when I can bolt it on to make sure it doesn't come off...

What is the benefit of the mount if you have factory nav?

I use mine for my VHF radio headunit, an iPad that i use to control Leadnav, Spotify, Waze, my radar detector software, etc, and i have a phone mount on the passenger side.
