GEN 2 2018 brand new raptor strong interior smell?

Did your truck have a very strong smell of new car chemicals when you first bought it?

I sat in the one I was gonna buy yesterday And wow, the new car smell was so strong it made me dizzy. I mean it was just built so that’s obviously why.

How long did it take to go away and what did you do to remove the smell.

Rip some farts in it....

Jk mine wasnt that strong and I kinda liked it. Took about 8-9 months for the new car smell do go away.

Do you think there was things you could have done to make it go away sooner?

Also I just talked to a few other people with the same issue. Saying the smell on the raptor after 6 months is much stronger than a comparable car

Mine had that smell. I used an ozone generator for like 45 mins and that seemed to help some.

Interesting. Sounds like many people have run into this. I did ozone but it actually can make it worse.

Open sunroof to allow new material out gasses to escape

Nothing like that new vehicle smell though! Maybe its just me...
