So the finally posted the specs and the Gen2 SCREW Raptor has an 8,000 lb towing capacity with a 1,200 lbs payload capacity. The weak point is obviously not the engine, so I was wondering what could be done to up the payload and/or tow capacity.

Air bag installation? Different spring and/or shock setup in the rear?

legally speaking, nothing can be done to increase your towing/payload capacities.

that being said if you don't care about legalities and insurance, stiffer springs, better brakes, etc will all help with towing. Much of what applies to the first gen in regards to helping with towing, will apply to the 2nd gen, and really all trucks in general.

Here are a few links for you. Yeah whatever @KaiserM715

And why don't you read about lives of others for people's stupidity of why they just don't get the proper equipment and truck to tow shit.

Dangerous Trailers - Saving Lives

Do some searching, there is an awesome button in the red toolbar and then there is always the tried and true Google. Isn't there not enough tow threads here already, geez. Ways to tow more on a truck than designed, dude be smart not dumb, the raptor community has to have smarter folks (at least we hope so), think dude, think.
