I run the svc adjustable bump stop setup on my gen 1. I don’t tow as often as I used to but when I do I crank the pressure up to 350 in the bumps. I tow 8000lb trailers and have never had any issues. I believe svc also markets their setup to be used as overloads like rpg does.

I've spoken with Corey at rpg recently. Great guy! Info given was to go stage 3 kit at rpg with adjustable bump stops and Deaver+2 for towing heavy load sometimes and being unloaded most of the time. I asked directly after all this back and forth in the topic and I feel people that have used adjustable bumps are relaying positive results about this setup.
