Should I purchase a bump stop for towing?

Thanks, do the Deaver + 3's negatively impact the feel of the suspension while not towing?

Deaver +3 with a load leaf might be a little stiffer. I only had my bed empty (usually 250lbs with 2 tires and a chase rack) it felt slightly stiffer but nothing I would regret down the road.

Most have +3 without the load leaf and it is far better than stock ride wise.

Is the preferred towing combo here the same as the SVC chase package?
Do the Deaver +3s raise the rear up? Is that something the C.A.S system in the front would need to balance?

I don't really want to lift anything (wife/kid is going to have hard enough time already) but I'd really like to be able to tow a 5-7k trailer without worry. Needing to grab an impact gun & set bumpstop height trade-off sounds fine to me.

One more dumb question -- what's difference of the Deaver +3 with or without a 'load leaf' as mentioned in an earlier post?

Thanks!

+ 3's are going to raise the rear up 1" over stock if you pull the factory 2" block out. The load leaf is simply a stiffer leaf spring at the bottom of the pack that you only get into once you have enough weight in the bed or if you're really running the truck hard.

Thanks, TRIMMEL.

@svc is this combo basically what the 'chase package' you guys have is for? Maybe also +the C.A.S?

I had (and will be getting another) Stage 1 from RPG (I have the 2" and 4" bumpstops from the original).
Towed a 35' bumper pull with a BlueOx WDH and used the 4" bump stops from California to North Carolina in 3.5 days. Towed like a dream (mountains in Cali, 105 deg in AZ, Thunderstorms in TX etc). The Stage 1 or 2 from RPG is ALL you'll ever need to tow with the Raptor. Quick and easy to switch out for the times you need to haul. jack up the hitch, droop the rear end and install the 4". Simple and effective.
