I cut part of my liner already but driver side wheel is rubbing on the inner fender flares still. Didn't want to just hack them so wanted to see if anyone else has trim them before? Any recommendations much appreciated.

Pictures show where the tire is rubbing the flare. Line on the flare is what I marked but decided not to cut just quite yet.

37's on 22's - only way to go

Wheel size aside those black rhino's have +30 offset and sit in roughly 1/2" further than the Methods. Between that and the fact that the 37x12.50x17 Trail Grappler measures closer to 13.5 in width as where the Ridge Grappler measures 12.7 I think. That creates a lot more to clear the 37's.

To the OP, if you don't want to cut, I'd get a different tire. The Ridge Grappler would be ideal if you still want something aggressive. The Trail Grappler just runs huge in the size you got.

To the mall or starbucks.

Lol, yes mall crawler raptors boggle my mind.

Although, 4 or 5 days out of the week my 3 yr old and I take the raptor to Starbucks, grab him his croissant, then go straight to our local mud hole and bang around for 15-20 minutes. It's nice that we have an amazing off-road area 10 mins from the house. Kid begs me to go almost daily.

Reviving this thread... Just picked up my 37" ridge grapplers on 22" Fuel wheels.. def will need some trimming (plastic and metal). I was surprised just how much it actually hit the wheel well though.
I just traded in my 2011 Raptor which i put 37's on with a 2" leveling kit.. only had very minor rubbing before any trimming.. but this is crazy on the 2018!

Do you have any pics of the trimming you did to fit your setup on there? (before i go out with the angle grinder and go to town on making room.

I have 2.5in lift on mine.. didn't help as much as i thought it would.

Here you go. It still rubs but I can live with it. When it's time to get new tires I'll more than likely switch to 35s or something less agreesive.

WOW... way more than i anticipated... those guys at ExtremeCustoms where i ordered my wheels and tires from guaranteed me i would just need some "minor trimming."... i call BS now!

At least my ride is a street queen.. so if i can get it to rub only minimally, i should be ok.

Thanks for the quick response and the pics bro... very much appreciated!

Not a problem. I didn't look that bad when I first trimmed and didn't notice until I just took those pics. Looks like the tires are eatting into the liner and fender plastic.
