You cannot do a perch mod on the new 2017 because it has a V6 which is lighter and if you move to the mid perch on a 3.0 fox shock, it will suddenly become heavier because its higher in the air.

So, gravitational acceleration IS actually dependent upon the distance between the centroids of the two objects in question, as given by

gh=g0(re/(re+h))^2

where gh is the gravitational acceleration at height above sea level
g0 is the standard gravitational acceleration constant
re is the earths radius
h is the height above sea level

so, in reality, the Raptor will weigh LESS if you raise it's CG by moving the front end suspension up to mid-perch....

but I doubt if you'll be able to measure the difference

Bump. Anyone else think it is adjustable?

It will not be adjustable

At least one vendor will be offering a billet block to use at the bottom spring perch for added height equiv to mid perch of old. Assuming GeiserBro's or other spring makers will eventually offer a progressive option to achieve more height.

I did have this conversation with a Ford Dynamics guy, and It felt like I was dragging fingernails across a chalkboard as I brought it up There is a lot more involved in the design of this shock setup than last go in its offered configuration. That all said, I will likely be trying the block as soon as its available simply for aesthetics. I did much prefer the mid perch firmness over stock on first gen, Geisers at mid perch wasn't bad either.

I saw Geiser and my brain immediately started trying to make some kind of trophy truck connection.

Has anyone else noticed how many of the trucks in some of the pics have looked close to level front to back? Are they carrying tons of gear in them when they are about and about testing or is something else up?
