Installed my RPG collars last night in around 2 hours

Pretty easy job, rented some spring compressors for free.



I used this video as a reference:



And just installed the collar at the appropriate time.

Nice piece from RPG, and the truck looks much better stock. I noticed no difference in ride.

It's a site thing because it plays still on YouTube if you copy the link. Pics have been ******* up too. For future reference in case you didn't know, only drop the alpha-numeric portion of the video link after the = sign

For example this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIfcWwXzF1Q

Break out the AIfcWwXzF1Q part and paste that between the YouTube brackets

Any autozone or pepboys or similar should rent you one for free. I've rented from Autozone in the past.

I used Advanced Auto, but most places do it. you essentially buy them and return them and get your money back, in case you just keep them. I think they were like $65. Just returned 'em at lunch.

I got a universal license plate bracket too, so I can mount my plate offset.

Autozone rents them I just found out... curious if it needed an alignment after install? That's something I have no idea how to do.

Where did you guys get the RPG collars from? Who gives the best price?

I just got mine from RPG directly. $259
