Here is the amount I had to trim on both sides. It was done in about 5 minutes with a grinding wheel.

I will clean it up after I get a chance to remove the tires next weekend.

I finally got a free moment to clean up the inner fender trimming. At first, I trimmed the plastic following the curve of the liner. This removed the part which sticks out the furthest. I painted the part behind the liner with flat black paint to help it blend in with the inner liner.

After moving to the right side, I could see where the tire had rubbed on the edge of the fender flair while doing some off-roading last weekend in the hill country. It only happened once when making an abrupt turn up a steep incline, but I decided to trim the same spot on both sides just to be safe.

I also painted the wheel hubs on all four so I could remount the wheel/tires without using the Fuel center caps with the big Chrome "F".

The first trim picture is before I cut the edge of the fender flair and the second picture was after I cut straight down following the same line as the crease in the inner fender. Someone asked on another thread about the cutting tool, so I snapped a quick picture of the Dremel Micro.

Thanks for posting the pics and info! You did a great job with the cutting, doesn't look out of place at all. Center cap delete looks much better as well.

Let me ask you, do you think with the 37 you could go out offroading and have full suspension travel?

I will basically run the same suspension, but i am unsure yet about the tires.

I have the same set up and I am still on the fence about going to 37s.....

I just dont want to F up my off road drive-ability for a full tire look.

I think the 37s will rub under full suspension travel depending on the brand of tire and wheel offset. I have done a couple of mild off-road runs and I had slight rubbing on the right front at the bottom of fender flare. I trimmed the area off, as seen in my second picture above, but I have not had the truck off road since I did the work.

I know others have reported no rubbing with 37 BFGs using a similar suspension setup with heavy off-roading, but they are smaller than the Toyo RTs. I will know more in the next couple of weeks as I am heading back to the hill country for more trail runs.

Just ordered the Geiser and Deaver +3 setup so I can eventually put 37s on the truck when my existing tires wear out. I wish I could have seen and driven this setup before making the purchase, but everybody seems to love it. I'm hoping the truck looks like it has a lift and doesn't ride too firm on the road where it unfortunately spends most of it's life. I should have everything installed by the end of next week.

I love how my truck rides and handles with this set up wish I was confident about throwing some 37s on tho.... Still worried about rubbing off roading as I have heard from other guys. For just on road use I am sure 37s would be no issue.
