To give credence to FHGT ON I had a way worse problems on my Jeep SRT. I had to grind the pads down so they would move freely. They didn't fit the retainers as well. I believe this is a issue with R1 on Jeeps and not R1 with Raptors. Chris and I discussed this when I had my Jeep. I will stick to higher end products in my vehicles but I will say there are plenty of raptor owners happy with R1.

I think it's a case of BBK companies waking up to a new reality

I get why some rotors aren't zinc coated

But, this is a big but, when people spend $2-10K on a BBK, it should be common sense that they don't expect to see any rust regardless of the structural reasons - if there's going to be a rust ring, the BBK co should highlight it before the sale

think i may be sold on a simple rotar/pad and stainless brake line replacement, should be able to be had for about $1250...

$1250 per pair for just the rotors?

As far as simple OEM replacement bolt on rotor and pad packages go, I can save you half that. Use promo code 20OFFR1CONCEPTS during checkout at the link below for the most popular brake package upgrades in the Raptor community, hands down. Baja proven on many Raptors.

the rb rotars are 8lbs lighter than stock and are true two piece... About 1/3 the cost of a brembo or alcon kit, granted your caliper will stay oem. The lighter rotating mass of the rotar, coupled with its much larger cooling veins, some performance pads+ ss brake lines will be the best bang for the buck...
Just a firm believer that bigger caliper requires an appropriate master cylinder to get the real performance out of it...
$945 for the pair +100 for the pads and maybe another 150 for some good ss lines...

Do you offer the SS brake lines as well with this kit?

There are several part numbers for the Brembo kits. The part number depends on the color of caliper, whether you want drilled or slotted rotors, etc. If you like, I can help narrow down your options and get you taken care of with a quote on them. Send a PM to me or @Rick@FreedomMotorsports for more information.
