37's

No issues whatsoever with clearance or rubbing on the Gen 2 with the 12.50 BFG’s – different story on the Gen 1 with some cutting and bending back of pinch seam to accommodate the Method Bead locks and 13.50 Toyos.

Totally different thing to run 37x13.5" Toyos on aftermarket wheels vs. BFG K0 "37s" on OEM wheels.

The Toyos are MUCH larger tires than the BFGs and aftermarket wheels have much more offset (and are required for most aftermarket upper control arms.)

A Gen 2, even with the small BFG 37s, is going to require a lot of clearance work on Method wheels.

Basically, you're comparing apples to oranges.

how about a Gen 2, BFG 37", OEM wheels, 1 1/2" leveling up front. Will that clear? If 35" BFG clear stock and you go to a 37" the tire will be 1" radius bigger. So if you raise the front 1 1/2" higher, in theory you will have an extra 1/2" more clearance than stock and 37" tires, right?

I would really like to understand if 37" KO2's which run small anyway, will fit on the stock bead locks wheels without rubbing at stock height.

Everyone says it is going to need collar to fit, but what I think they are forgetting is that the collar does nothing to wheel travel. The wheel will still travel in the exact same path before and after the lift. The collar does nothing to stop up travel or down travel, therefore if 37" tires fit without rubbing with a collar than they will fit stock height also.

A collar will change your static height. So when you have the wheel at full lock, you could rub unless the static height is increased. 37s will rub at full compression regardless (with stock fenders and liners), but your aren't backing out of a driveway at full compression so it's not an issue.
