I still think the SPD adapters are doing something...
my 'before tune showed 347HP
whipple's private testing (different truck/different day, etc) shows 323HP base

that's 24HP different on baseline for RWHP

discuss!

A point of clarification:

did you dyno stock (no SPD) and then dyno with ONLY the SPD adapters?

I’m in at least partial agreement with @Gsteve, I doubt they hurt anything, but if you tuned and put the SPD’s on at the same time, we’re only guessing if they’re actually producing real world numbers.

Great to hear. I tested the adapters, I don't see them making any power difference. They're nice, but back to back, I didn't see any major gain. I do feel they are a nice option but the power is in the cal/ic/filter. On 93 or 94, in general will make 15-30rwhp more and same with torque. Its roughly a 2-4 deg spark change, all else being equal.

No reason for whipple to lie.

Far as I’m concerned. Case is closed.

I agree with Guy on this one, if the adapters were a restriction to begin with you would see gains. But if the downpipes or any part of the exhaust are still the same diameter as the original adapters (i dont know whether they are or not) you gain zero.

I doubt these make a difference.

Downpipes with high flow cats... Definitely. In fact, downpipes are probably the only exhaust mod that would give you some decent HP. Plus you would heard the turbo spool more.

Probably sounds better than any aftermarket exhaust too, by just using downpipes only like this:
