I also requested the stock tune. Person I spoke to said they were backed up on stock tune requests and it takes them longer to get the stock tune due to their machine not being setup to generate them as opposed to the Whipple ones.

Quick question, does the installation of the intercooler require the skid plate and front bumper to be removed, or can you access it by removing the front grille? My kit should be here early this week.

Sounds like the run around as I was told the stock tunes come directly from ford performance ....

Unsure - but I think you can drop the skid plate and swap it out...

Installation of the Whipple intercooler doesn't require removal of front bumper or grille. You only need to remove the skid plate, which is 6 bolts. The Whipple website has the installation instructions, which are pretty straight forward. You will see in one of my previous posts a piece of plastic that needs to be removed to fit the intercooler in, which at the time the instructions didn't include. They may have updated them by now though.

Thank you for the reply's. I saw an install diagram with the bumper removed, so it had me curious. I'll be installing a light bar behind the grille at the same time, so that will be coming off regardless.

Is the 1/15 calibration the latest one out there? I have not seen anyone post about a newer one.
