I left my PC on for a bit but then the ECU learned after a few hundred miles - it was too twitchy so I have it turned off right now... I may end up selling my PC

I can hear the turbos more, plus I did the BOV bypass so it's a great PSSSH when you let off the gas [emoji106]

What benefit is bypassing bov? And is there a kit for that

How does it sound? Can you hear the turbos and air intake system a lot more?

How does it sound? Are the turbos a lot more prominent?

You won't need a pedal commander. It now drives like a big block V8.

And yes, LOTS of flow noise.

It drives even better than my friends tuned Duramax. So much more low end power it's crazy. A whole different truck.

Stage 1 feedback

With over 2,000 miles on stage 1 kit, truck feels like it’s starting to run even better as miles go on, no problems at all. Now it’s time to add Deavers springs and their bump stops to the equation!:driver:

Bypass Just makes more noise - adding an aftermarket BOV can help hold more boost though

I do think the computer takes a while to learn because my transmission issues disappeared and truck is running really good now.

Same here. As I've added miles the transmission and power delivery have only improved, vs getting used to the tune.

If you are spending the kind of money a Raptor is, what's a few extra bucks to make it drive 20X better than stock? Don't waste money on an exhaust or anything else, just tune it. It felt like a Prius before the Whipple kit.

Even if you need to go the cheaper route with MPT or Livernois or Gearhead, a tune is going to be worth it.

Has anyone noticed the stock exhaust getting louder? I am at 9700 miles and it is definitely louder then it was 5000 miles ago, I am not complaining just a observation.

Being the cost of the MPT or Gearhead tunes and tuner plus the intercooler, plus a CAI is the same price as the retail cost of the Whipple kit...

I wouldn’t call them cheaper. They’re just “ala carte”
