Just received this email after inquiring with spd. Sounds extremely promising especially if no code... :

Hello Mike,

We had some email issues where a few emails got tied up and yours happened to be one of them. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Yes, we are working on designing raptor downpipes now and will hopefully have pictures on pricing next week. They will be compatible with the adapters and our catted version will not trigger codes. Estimate hp/trq are unknown at this time.

Sincerely,

Dan Hozen

SPD Downpipes now available

Just saw these today. Not sure if this has been posted yet. Mandrel bent aluminum. 6 week wait.

Non-Catted: $550

Catted: $750

According to the above post these downpipes, when catted, supposedly will not throw codes.

Personally I am considering these or Kooks. Catted either way. Will probably run the MPT tune as soon as the 2018’s are supported, so no codes will be important because I believe MPT does not tune NOT codes.

It isn’t mandrel bent aluminum.

It’s mandrel bent aluminized steel.

It’s carbon steel that is dipped in an aluminum silicon alloy.

In other words... it isn’t stainless steel.

I’d go kooks if I were going to waste my money on downpipes.

Has anyone produced before and after dyno runs of aftermarket vs stock downpipes on a raptor?

I am keeping stock exhaust so I am going for these just for extra sound and hopefully a bit more flow. Already have spd adapters so these should fit right up.
