Although I like to think I know a little about automotive intricacies, I am amazed how awesome this little Pedal Commander gadget is. It completely transformed my 2018 Raptor. Best plug and play modification I have ever done on any vehicle (except for supercharging) I am a little concerned about the mods and what parameters this gadget manipulates. Anyone experience any long term adverse effects to their riders from one of these?

Mine tried to kill me after being on the truck for a few months, and others have reported the same. Not sure if that answers your question?

I've had mine on for over a year, absolutely no issues. I purchased mine on one of the very first group buys that was done here. Wouldn't drive without it. I have no idea what Corey is talking about in regards to about to kill anyone, first I've ever heard. There are countless people that use this everyday, one bad apple comment has no justification compared to all the positive ones.

Can you elaborate a little please?

Mine started to cause the truck to rev up to like 3k when stopped/stopping. The final time it happened I was at a complete stop with brakes fully applied when it surged forward about the length of a parking spot. I took it off immediately after that final surge and haven’t had the problem since.

Thank god I was pulling into a space without a car in front because I would have smashed it. And if it happened where I park at work my truck would have gone down a 50ft cliff. People will shrug it off but it was scary stuff, especially because my pregnant fiancé was in the car when it happened.

After talking to a member here with a ton of knowledge on the subject I’m pretty convinced these things are untested and very unsafe. Pedal Commander has been asked for proof of testing several times but was never able or willing to provide it and all the ‘OMG its so awesome’ comments buried those conversations.

For some reason I can't figure out how to share it but I did post my dash cam vid of the final surge on FRF facebook back on May 24th when it happened. I'll try to get it posted on here later.

No sound in that video to hear our reaction or the truck revving, but you can see it

thanks for posting. Do you remember what the P/C was set to when this happened? My guess would be the truck was trying to throttle up and maybe P/C turned that signal into something way more than practical.
