Lost oil pressure time to find out why?

We had this show up. Pretty heavily modified 2017 Raptor first engine locked up this engine lost oil pressure customer brought it into us for tear down and inspect can't wait to see what we find. Will keep updates as they become available.

Hope some great info comes out of this. How many miles on it? Did it have the "cam phaser rattle"?

I'm especially interested to see how the phasers and timing belt looked.

lost pressure? the engine looks pretty clean - internal damage?

would suck if it was just a bad sensor

curious what Ford did for customer?

What exactly does "heavily modified " consist of ?

Not just a bad sensor. We got motor apart and the bearing are no good and crank has hot spots. As soon as pics become available I will be sharing.

Upgraded turbo's downpipes and exhaust cold air intake thermostat and custom tune. Customer stated it was making 600 RWHP.

Have you been able to identify any different parts that make up the 3.5HO vs the regular 3.5? Heads, cams, pistons, rods, etc.

I think it’s safe to say the engine may not be capable of that many ponies without grenading.

I say no more than 500 at the wheels for a long life.

I also think it's safe to say the warranty is a bit on the voided side!
