let me know how you like it, video/ sound clip of it once its installed, i've seen one other decent video on youtube of the s type, and so far i think it's first in the runnings for which one i might go with soon.

It definitely does not have the sound of a 6.2... or any v-8 for that matter. To each their own though.

you are wrong. Unless you own both i would say you cant say. They sound similar The v8 note will always be better but that wasnt really the topic what i am saying is the the atak makes the truck sound ferocious unlike the stock muffler that makes it sound like a weak v6.

Most super cars are foing towards the v6 , the v8 is a classic but unfortunately for some no longer relevant for Raptor development.

I havent heard the s type in person , i heard the Borla videos like you and they seemed the same to me as well. If you dont give a crap about the neighbours go with the Atak, if you want to stay under the radar dont buy a Atak. In the cab with the windows closed you will not here a difference in the sound unless you rev to higher rpms. If you are using a pedal commanger the sound is deafening outside the cab as the throttle is pushed the sound is insane.

Regardless, Ford has a TON of work to do in regard to the sound of these small engines. Sadly, dodge has done a good job with the V6 exhaust in the charger/challenger. There is a trick to this that Ford has not figured out.

Well the f1 has gone v6 here is a short answer as to why https://www.quora.com/Formula-1-Wha...a-normally-aspirated-V8-to-a-turbo-charged-V6

Ferrari has a v6 , ford gt ect ... the movement is towards the 6. This is not my opinion this is what seems to be happening.


A quick update i may put back on the resonator just to see the sound , i will keep you guys posted on the sound with the resonator added to the Borla , i am curious to see the sound with it on.
