Simply saying that if it's audibly heard his Knock sensors have nothing to do with it. If it's poor performance, maybe the sensors are a contributing factor.

We’re all speculating here but if the truck is not pulling enough timing and the engine knocks I don’t think we’ve ruled in or out the knock sensor, regardless of throttle position.

I’d suggest a mechanic test drive with you driving. They probably aren’t going to try and get the truck to go full throttle for any sustained period of time and this is an issue you don’t want to be doing the “cannot replicate problem” dance with the service department.
