I took my 2017 Ford Raptor Supercrew to sacramentoraceway 1/4 mile dragstrip yesterday and ran [email protected].

I know this is not a race car but this truck is not slow by any means. This truck is the complete package with the best all terrain capabilities and speed. This truck is bone stock.

Here is my video

That's pretty badazz!!!!

I can't wait to see some times with a few bolt-on mods.

My G1 Raptor I've actually ran quite a bit in the 1/4 mile. I've got a 9 second Harley truck that I normally drag race, but if it's broken, or I'm on travel and near a drag strip, I can't resist making a few passes for the heck of it. I've probably got 30 or 40 passes on my truck lol.

Bone stock the best I could get from my screw was 15.2. When I dropped the spare tire and jack, speaker box, floor mats, bed mat, bed extender, tonneau cover, low tank of gas, I was able to get a 15.0 (why go to all that trouble for an offroad trucks? lol well every year I enter it in my local NMRA race to run it in true street since my Harley truck doesn't meet the rules for true street but the Raptor does, and they have x.000 classes, so I've won three years in a row for the 15.000 class with the Raptor haha).

I added a tune and an intake, and it was worth about 2 tenths. Truck now runs 15.0 with the normal weight added back in, or 14.8 with it taken out.

Pretty badazz that between the power bump, extra gears, and less weight, the gen 2 is basically a full second & a quarter quicker. And I bet an intake and tune drops more than 2 tenths since forced induction responds better to mods than N/A does. 13.5's should be easy for a lightly modded Raptor.....take some weight out, turn the wick up, 12.9's in a Raptor? Ridiculous hahaha

I remember reading about some guy taking a Hummer H2 to the drag strip. R/T was so off because rollout on the big tires.

After a few runs he was able to figure out when to take off and R/T was driving others nuts that they didn't get a red.

Found the article... good read on R/T and rollout.

Great time for a stock rig. I ran a 14.2 in my old 2006 F250 Powerstroke that was tuned, lifted and on 37's. I thought that was super fast with the tuner, and here we are with a bone stock truck running 14.0. Can't wait to see what she does with some bolt-ons!

A 2.1 60Ft isn't bad but i was expecting better. For the launch, traction was never a problem. I had the truck on 4A and pressed the brake and accelerator at the same time and brought the revs to about 3RPMs and launched. My GTR would rev to 5k RPM at launch. Maybe a tuner can fix that.

I do see 13's stock regardless with just better Density Altitude. 13.5 on some of the east coast tracks that get negative 2000 Density Altitude.

12's with full bolt ons will be no problem! You will hurt alot of feelings

never mind. Looked at the slip wrong. Thought he broke out.

Yeah he beat me because of my slower reaction time even through i was closer to my dial in

Nice job, good to get a baseline!

Thanks i always like to get a baseline before modding to see the differences
