This is driving me nuts because I am not sure if it is normal or not, but I feel some slight vibration in the gas pedal while I am driving my new Gen 2 Raptor. Does anybody else feel anything? With all other cars that I have driven, I don't feel anything via the gas pedal. Thanks for your help!!!

There seem to be some ongoing concerns about the balance of the tires...

Maybe?

I did have the the rear two tires replaced under warranty because they were bad and couldn't be balanced. All four tires have been road force balanced and they are supposedly good. If feeling some vibration in the gas pedal is not normal, then I'm pretty confident that I'm feeling some kind of drivetrain issue. Does anybody feel anything through the gas pedal?

Hate to say it but it seems like you're having a lot of issues. I don't know what the lemon laws are in your state, but the best thing you can do is be sure to take your truck back to the dealer especially if it's the same issue over and over so you can create a pattern with Ford and for your state laws.

In my state if something can't be repaired after three times for the same issue you can start a lemon claim.

Either that or you are overly sensitive. J/K

Good luck OP

Good luck OP

A technician at the local dealership confirmed what I'm feeling this morning, but he didn't know if it was irregular for a Raptor or not. He said he would be told by Ford to drive a like vehicle to get a comaparison, but that is virtually impossible since there are no extra Raptors sitting around on dealer lots. I will give them a few days to research the issue and then I will take it back and maybe have them put it on a lift to see if they can see any vibration from below??? It sucks to have a new vehicle that isn't quite right.

Seems like gen 2 is running in to issues at every turn! Is it while the engine is under stress, maybe bogged down? A speed range?

I bought a set of Mickey T's for mine that were unbalance-able and there was a vibration in the pedal... And everything else between 55 and 90.

Also I had a 2011 f250 that had the death wobble. If this is a new version of the wobble that is very very bad news. The wobble destroyed my 250 only after 70k miles countless tires and suspension changes etc.

Good luck and don't let the dealer take advantage of you and refuse to recognize the problem.

A good tip is to find others, and there are others with the same problem and show the forum to ford!

So far he's about the only one that has had any issues whatsoever.

I agree with you it could be just bad tires. Or it could be he got a rare bad one and Ford needs to make it right. Main thing is document everything
