Does anyone know if next years 5.0 Eco is gonna be a single variable speed turbo or twins?

Nope. 2018.5 Raptor is going external combustion. That’s why no changes for ’18 MY. Usable bed space will be reduced however.

It will be a 4.9L 7 cyl inline flat head setup with 3 turbos. Two larger ones for top end power, and one smaller one on cyl number 7 for low end torque. The rumor is that all 3 intercoolers will be pre-weeped for maximum dry intake air.

It will be a 2.3L 3 cylinder hybrid quad turbo with a battery pack in the bed.

One turbo per cylinder of course.
