I like supercharged engines better than turbos because I find them more predictable to drive, though I have to say the Raptor acquits itself well here.
I didn’t see them addressing what the belt drive / parasitic loss is going to do to economy. I saw where they’re going to mechanically vary the s/c speed and thus boost, so theoretically you’d get the best of both worlds; instant on, big block like torque, along with a solid top end. who knows?
