Just asking...

My truck's thrashing sounds louder and longer now, and my mileage has dropped from average 18.5 to 16.2 all the sudden.

It also feels a little more sluggish.

2017 SCREW 12,243 miles. No problems to date. 1 oil change.

Haven't yet... been too busy. I will next week.

I noticed while driving the interstate today that at 80mph, it felt as though the brake was being lightly applied on/off... sorta like how the ABS feels.

I'm now wondering if it's the gearbox... gonna pull the positive lead off the battery today while at work and see if that helps.

I would not do that. Leave it alone and let the issue manifest itself under warranty. If you clear everything, they have no data to look at.

Even though it hasn't thrown a code?

Correct. They can read data history of engine performance and that can help identify problems. Your best bet is leave it alone, take it in, and have them diagnose. It is a legitimate problem, so let them and Ford own correcting it.

Ok. I'll do that. Thanks for the input. I did notice a difference on interstate travel today... I put the truck in tow/haul mode and it improved mpg and the lumpiness. Coincidence?

Probably not. Interested in hearing what the actual problem is with the engine or transmission.
