So my truck is equipped with sync connect which appears to be the same thing. I mean its a nice to have type feature. Gives me vehicle location, fuel level, mileage, starts the truck, unlocks and locks the truck etc etc .... Meh.

Mine too. Wondering what smartlink brings to the table other than a wifi hotspot. Since I already have unlimited data on my phone, why would I want smartlink? Am I thinking about this correctly?
