Repair was simple.. it is interesting that Ford will not send a new seatbelt buckle instead the tech had to drill out the rivet to install a nut and bolt!!0e4acc8d9dea93a219c7e79569061cca.jpg

Its probably cheaper for them to just pay for labor than parts + labor... Since the part needs to be R & R'd anyway...

Went out to the Rap and sure looks like I could drill it in place and install a bolt and nut myself.....

I asked about this at my last visit, they said it was pretty short engagement. While they’re doing this, I need to have them tighten up the latches so they can actually be used. All of my rear passengers have complained about not being able to get the rear seat belt latches.
