When I brought home my '17 SCREW recently, I noticed that the front wheel wells have plastic liners but the rear ones do not. Is this normal? If so, why wouldn't Ford install liners for all four wheel wells?

They didn't do it on the GEN1 either. There was no after-market option either considering the 5 years it was out. Think the reason for the front is to keep stuff off the engine, don't need it in the rear.

When I had the line-x installed in the gen1 bed, I had them also spray the rear wheel wells, seemed at the time that it would be a good idea and I never had any problems with it. It was super easy to clean, made the wheel wells "disappear" and not stick out seeing the blue behind the wheels and figure it kept the rocks from tearing the wheel wells up.

Mine are getting sprayed next Monday.

On the lighter colors, it looks awful with the black front wheel wells and the rear just body color.

That's a great question that I've been asking for months now! I saw some Raptor photos at Auto Shows (Los Angeles, for example) with rear wheel well liners and it looked awesome. So, Ford already has a template. Why won't they sell them??? I've attached a pic I took of the 17 Raptor rear wheel well liner at the LA auto show for reference.

That's not a liner. It's painted black.
