Raptor stuck in Jersey lot?

So mine was shipped from the plant on 1/3, with an ETA of 1/15. Ford tells me it's currently in New Jersey, and that's all they see. They have no updated ETA, and nobody can explain why it's sitting in New Jersey. Is that normal?

Ordering dealer is located in Pittsburgh. I called FP, online chat, and dealer all give me the same story...

Sorry to hear that. I suspect Ford probably ships high value vehicles that transit NJ with “spares” since it will probably arrive sans wheels, tires, motor, seats, stereo etc.

So the dealer will probably have to reassemble.

it’s probably changing the shipping “venue” or method. maybe it’s being picked up by a car hauler now. lots of people have seen some delays like this. Patience is definitely required.
