The truck saves it from one drive to the next. That could be the case, who knows but if it's like a 14 that is how it works. However, I do know simply hitting +/- in drive will not put it into manual mode. It locks gears out which is pretty nice to have seperate from manual mode.

Anyway, you could be right but the video doesn't show that.

FWIW.... 21.2 real world MPG in a 2017, although not a Raptor.....

Is the 15/18 EPA rating rating for Gen2's accurate to what owners with some mileage are starting to see? Is combined around 16 MPG?

I'm coming from an '11 FX4 3.5 ecoboost supercrew with 3.73 rear end. I get 16.2 MPG lifetime combined over 106K miles. About 80% City, 20% Highway. Fairly heavy footed and Highway speed typically 75-79 MPH. My '06 5.4L same config. got 15.5 MPG.

I think my duty cycle is very similar to yours (fairly lead footed and almost always 70-80mph). I am getting about 15-16mpg in my G2 SCAB. I can get that number up to 17-18 but that's with babying it around, and it does not feel like my driving style. Anytime I take someone for a ride though, it drops by 1-2 mpg due to the many full throttle pulls

I have about 3500 miles on my 2017 Raptor and my average is right at 16.

I just finished a trip from Baton Rouge to San Diego, and it averaged 15 mpg. What I noticed is it is "capable" of getting 18+, but under very very specific circumstances, like driving exactly 60 on a perfectly flat road.

I noticed when I cruise controlled at 65 it was about 17-18, cruised at 75 was 15-16, and cruise at 80 was below 15....granted all my data is from the route from Lousiana to CA, so this accounts for a lot of hills and stuff.

How many miles are you getting from a full fuel load range wise?
