My plane arrived in Utah around 1140 mnt time and after getting my rental and a bite to eat I decided to check out the Ford performance racing school in Tooele (pronounced too_wila) where the Raptor Assault is being held and got the lowdown on whats happening.
There is a dinner a presentation tonight at 530 in the Ford museum. Tomorrow morning there is a short informative school session lasting 30-40 minutes in the museum and the rest of the day is spent in the vehicles. Except for lunch which will be provided. The first part of the driving is down on location at the school but the majority of the day will be spent in the Mountians in trails.
I was told that there would be 17 of us tomorrow and that there would be two driver per truck and 4-5 instructors. Drivers will spend the majority of the day behind the wheel and will take turns swapping out. The employee that I spoke to stated that he had just taken the class last week and its the most fun he has had behind the wheel. I have enclosed pics of the driving school and museum for any interested in perusing. To those schedule for the class tomm, I will see you tonight.
