I have the Amp Research one pictured. I installed the no drill brackets as well. Works great.

Same here no drill brackets and Amp HD Bed Extender. Perfect when camping and need extra space since my bed rack and spares take half the bed it gives me back the space. Most the time I don't need it and the extender sits in my garage. It just drops into the mounting brackets in 2 seconds for install and off you go.

It has more space when in the extended position and it's made of metal w/ plastic attachments between the bars.

^ What he said plus you don't keep it in the bed all the time unless you want to. It flips the other way to hold groceries and shit so it they don't roll all over the bed. I rarely need it so I don't keep it in my bed. Better quality for sure.

The factory one flips both ways too. I like the factory one better tho because it folds up and stows out of the way if you need to use the bed for other things.

True, but I use a lot of the space in the bed for carrying Kayaks or packing items for camp. The Factory extender uses barely half the available space. Here is my Prior truck with the AMP extender.

I had the Factory plastic POS on my Jennay1 Raptor. Worked well for what it was - a blow molded POS. Took up space, got all dirty, footpads broke off. It's good for what it was - a factory supplied flip-over plastic fence.

The AMP BedXtender is a WAY better alternative!
