My truck always starts out with 611. On 87 its way off. On 93 it gets within 30 miles of that number. At this point I personally have noticed a performace/mpg gain on 93. Its most noticable on the highway passing slower cars.
@JetDriver480 have you personally noticed a difference in performance on lower octane ?

My truck has the smaller fuel tank and it only estimates around 260 miles per tank, this seems awfully low

I personally haven't noticed a difference going from 91 to 87 octane (Arizona temps)

Not even sure how so many people fill up their trucks. I can't spend more than $100 at the pump on a card which doesn't fill up the tank here. never seen mine over 430 or something, 600 would be weird.

600 is definitely possible. DTE is calculated based on your recent average MPG. The manual doesn't say exactly how, but one poster on another F150 forum claimed it was based on the last 500 miles driven.

When I went on a long road trip that was all highway, my readings would say 620 after filling up. But after doing mostly commuting and city/suburb driving, it shows me 490.
