I've got 2 of them...Pretty tough to beat.

Yeah I've had both V1 and ******. They are both good. I have leaned more to ****** over the last few years. The app is very helpful to have when carplay is going etc. Nice feature.

I've had multiple escorts over the years, and currently have ****** 360 in my truck. A few years back I ran both a V1 and an ****** 9500ix next to each other for a weeks worth of driving around Houston, and to/around Dallas. The 9500 was always a hair sooner (in my experience) and less false noises. Just my 2 cents.

I like being able to send the V1 back and receive a brand new one in a day or two. Sure it comes with some cost, but beats the hell out of having an expensive paperweight. I believe it was 1997 when my wife bought me my first V1. I used it until a couple years ago. We currently have 4.

I use it on my cycles too. Zip lock plastic bag keeps it dry. Works great even in the bag. I am in East TN and with Va being a frequently visited state,..(no radar allowed) we just drop the V1 connected in the floorboard. She yelps just fine down there as long as the volume is up. I know some other brands have pushed V1 & perhaps even bested the V1, but like a comfortable pair of jeans I find it easy to go back. I have considered trying some of the newest ****** models. Very high end as well & have a great following. I am very accustomed to the V1s tones and arrows. People fight change I reckon.

So looks like the V1 is the radar to get

Well imho you can't go far wrong buying a V1. But if your a tech geek some others may fit your needs better. Seems regardless of who does the comarrasion the V1 is at least near the top. The ability to program it to suit your needs along with V1 having real trade in value are two big pluses.
