So I did my truck no problem....easy stuff....

Question is if I do someone else's truck do I use the same program.....technically the back up on my truck will hold for someone else's....any other steps I need to take besides the normal.....thanks

I would assume a backup is good for each trim level only. For example I wouldn't take a 801A backup for an 802A however.

I would just save separate backup files for each vehicle you are going to program unless they have every option exactly the same as yours. Every little thing makes a difference (e.g. heated steering wheel, etc).

You don't need to backup every file. Just backup the ones you're going to change and you'll be fine.
