Oil leak at 5,000 miles. No leak at 2,000. Replaced oil pan last week.

Build date 12/12/16

Dealer had 1 other Raptor in repair at the time with the same problem. Dealer said he understands this is a common problem. He said my oil pan part number was unique, and different from the original oil pan. He assumes that they found a problem and have modified the oil pan, but he does not know this for a fact.

I'm wondering if it might have been a build issue. Some dates are old and are fine, why others are not. I'm kinda hesitant to check mine now. I'm sure I will soon enough.

I guess real data shows otherwise. Even though it isn't a scientific statistically relevant sample.
