Truck broke down with 6k miles. Multiple fault messages after a heavy rain. Towed to dealer. Well....turns out after I had my windshield replaced the first week I had the truck (due to a pebble) a heavy rain saturated the BCM supposedly due to bad windshield repair. I heard there were others with BCM issues. New BCM so we will see. I hope this is it for the drama. What say u?

May the Force be with you, and may the new BCM be weather-resistant.

Well technically a bogus window install killed the truck. Its good that the dealer was the one who did the work though so there wont be any finger pointing...

Good luck

Just as an FYI I use to get rock cracks all the time. I started paying a local windshield glass repair guy to put a special coating on my windshields called Diamond Fusion. Since I started to do this to all my vehicles I have not needed any more replacements. It is a permanent coating that moleculy bonds to the glass creating a smooth 10x stronger surface. I do a lot of highway driving up and down the east coast and it has saved me about 6-10 windshields in the last 8 years.

Great feedback guys. There was no water in the cab at all. The BCM is on the passenger side just to right of the glovebox I'm told....didn't see it myself.
