Hello All

Looking for a new 17 or 18 and I'm finding dealers asking OVER MSRP?? WTF?? It's a bad **** truck, but for real?!?!

I have never paid over MSRP on a new ride ever.

So far one dealer in Longmont Colorado wanted 10K over!

Is this what I'm looking at to pick one up???

Be willing to look outside your area and you'll find a deal. There's threads in the Gen2 section about dealers that will sell for MSRP.

... and deals for invoice. If you pay anything close to MSRP, you will lose your shirt in the future.

Ignore this guy, he is a troll.

If you find MSRP on a 2018, that's a fine deal. Maybe you can get below on a 2017... depends on how much the dealer is worried about people only wanting to buy 2018 now that it's out (even though features are very similar). I was able to find a couple dealers willing to sell a 2018 at MSRP in the Southeast, but had to expand my search radius to 1.5-3 hours away.

Good luck!

Truth right here. You aren't going to be getting any Trucar kind of deals on these. And if you decide to order one then the wait is different for every dealer. Ford Performance vehicles are a different animal for sure when it comes to allocations a dealer gets and when they are given out. That's why you see dealers trying to get additional markup. I seriously called probably 50 dealers before I found one that didn't play that game.

Contact Brandon http://www.fordraptorforum.com/members/rock7256/
I know he has 2 on the lot at msrp in Pennsilvaynia. You could always just have it shipped to you.

Best I could find in Texas was $5k over MSRP most wanted 10

Keep trying or expand your search to other states. A less likely option is to leave your name and number at your local dealers and for them to contact you when/if they ever drop their prices to MSRP.

I found a 2017 at 1,000 over invoice last week. Unfortunately the dealer has to wait to fix the recall of the seat belt (no fix available yet). So it maybe another month before I can get it. So don't waste your time on the 2017's. Most dealers don't even know about the recall until they do the paperwork.
