Oil change?

What do you guys recommend on brand oil and what type?

I am sure there are some who have a strong brand affinity, I usually buy Mobile 1, Royal Purple, or Quaker State, whichever is on sale. In the last 10 years, I cant say there has been much of a difference for me.

Most of my vehicles are 5w30, so it's kind of nice not having to keep different weights around.

Yeah I always used Quaker state might just keep using that.

Motorcraft oil and filter from walmart great prices for factory stuff.

I was thinking walmart or to the Ford dealership

Dealer brah. Keep that warranty intact.

I'm sure the dealership will charge more than Walmart

I tend to lean towards Quaker state and 5w30 or 5w20 which ever is recommended

I picked up 2 - 5qt containers of Mobil 1 oil at Walmart for about $50 and submitted for 2 - $12 rebates online - https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/m...r-oil-and-oil-filter-rebate-bottles-promotion

I took the oil to my dealer and had them change the oil there. Charged $20 for the labor, about $10 for the filter and disposal fee. Not terrible for a premium oil change and I didn't have to get my hands dirty.
