Super stoked to own my first Raptor. Kept driving by the dealer and I just had to have it. I don't have the full mod list handy and all that, just know it's the 802a package with some add-ons.

Just had the beast cermic coated with 9h self healing something or other 5 year coating... the detail guys were incredible and super informative. The dealer wash did a number on the paint (UGH!!!) and the polish was able to clean it right up but it was a huge pain I guess.

Anyway, here's some photos. I'm excited to drive her cross country to my west coast home and do some desert baja action!

That's the beast parked next to my supercharged Range Rover Sport.... they make a great pair.

Hope my attachments works and all that.

Few more pics... before and after of the pillars that were scratched from the delivery car wash... never let the dealer touch your paint! Lesson learned.

Congrats, a beautiful truck for sure. Of course, I am biased since I have the same truck  Love the Rover...have been looking at a SVR for the other half. What wheels are those? I am digging them! You will love the Nitto Ridge Grapplers if you've never had them. They are the best tire I have every owned, and I have owned them all at one point or another. Did you do a perch lift up front, or is it sitting stock?

Congrats and welcome aboard!

That thing is a BEAST! Dealerships shouldn't be allowed to wash cars or touch paint in any way, shape or form.

Once you get the exhaust figured out, let us know what you did. Flowmaster 50 series mufflers on the ecoboost definitely bring a deep tone.

Yeah? I'll have to see of anyone hs videos. Or if you know of any, would love to hear it. Would be great to get a deeper tone out of the exhaust.

Love the truck. It has already brought small crowds at the gas station and bbq restaurant in Florida. Haha

Thanks! I learned the hard way. I usually buy white or silver vehicles. This time I just had to go black on black. It was shiny in the lot. Then when I bought it, they decided to give it a quick wash and it was getting dark. Looked good to me Next day taking pics realized it was hazy looking and already had swirl marks on pillars and some other areas. They do a horrible job and probably used a damn brush and dirty rags. Why do they do that?!?!?!

Luckily detail shop was able to get it all out and looking great with deep mirror finish. And will be easier for me to take care of. I will be the only one washing this thing from now on.

The detail guy mentioned the 2018 paint is "softer" than previous years ?? Maybe they changed paint procedure for gen2?

Either way, I'm excited. And once I get a layer of desert on her, I won't care as much I suppose.

Here is what the 50 series sounds like on the ecoboost.
