I've had several Ford's in the past, and on vehicle specific forums there has been a Ford rep who was a member and would chime in here and there if they could help a member out (info, status of order, warranty issue). I haven't seen one around on this forum?
I owned the lowest selling Ford, a Flex (awesome Tahoe ski run vehicle) in the past and even on those boards they had a rep who would monitor the small forum. I found it very helpful when I had a trans slip issue where the local dealers couldn't resolve the problem. The rep assisted in bypassing the level 1 - customer service corporate reps to someone who could actually assist/make decisions.
It's been a few years since I owned the Ford, so maybe this has been discontinued which would be a shame as I felt it improved brand loyalty/image.
