Default NC here, need help w/order
So today I got home and went to crossroads ford in Sanford NC to order my truck. Been told by GM I could order a 2018 for msrp. Great right, hold up wait. So after building it the sales guy comes back to me with the sheet with a +7 grand on the bottom. I said no thank you I don't feel like being raped today good man. They GM is not their and will be their in the morning and I was told it will be straightened out in the morning. I'm not holding my breath, so it looks like they got me in their under false pretenses to try to get me to agree to a 7k markup. So in my opinion they are greedy son of a bitchs. Anybody that knows where I can order a 2018 for msrp in NC please message me if you don't mind. I'm in no big hurry just want to get on a list or something. But before I throw away 7k on a new truck I would rather my money just sit right in the bank. I was gonna pay cash for the truck as well. Oh and the 2 raptors they have the 2017s are still sitting there with a 7k markup and have been their. Good luck crossroad ford you lying greedy mfers. :) haha I feel better now

I would just wait unless you have your heart set on having the ecoboost engine.

I personally don't mind what engine really. The v6 was not my first choice but after driving one in way past not wanting a v6 now. I just want the truck, if it had a 4 banger in it that was powerful I would take it. One of my best off road trucks I ever had was powered by a 4banger. Didn't win races but it was awesome

But yea Sasquatch I'm not in a big enough hurry to throw 7k Down the drain. Hell thats a good uses pickup right their. I got money but not like the guys that didn't mind the huge markup, I'm far from that status. If I had the money I would pay markup I just simply can't pay that. It completely sux.

I might end up getting the f150 king ranch, it was my second choice or a f250, but kind had my heart on owning a raptor

Keep looking for a msrp deal and get the raptor. You won't be disappointed. It's awesome.

Be careful, don't get sucked into the ecoboost because it's "fun". It has a horrible history of reliability. Heck, we are seeing many engine problems here already. The next engine choice will be an 8 cylinder that is vastly more reliable.

I know someone that has big connections with ford plans and he is saying that if the v8 does come back it will be in 2021 or later for sure, that they have no plans on a less powered v8 in the raptor at all going on now. By that time I will be ready to buy another new truck most likely so makes no since to wait

No, it is definitely coming sooner rather than later. The engine won't be less powerful either...

Best truck on the road. Vast majority of owners happy.

Those who can't afford one (sasquatch) hate it! LOL

Thatís a lie. Ford Perf. told me ecoboost in the and next gen Raps. call them. You wonít like what you hear.

Get the ecoboost. You will like it.
There is no new engine coming any more than there is a new engine coming in any other model.
